We hire on evidence, not on openings.
- 01What you have built
- 02What was hard about it
- 03Which of the three areas you want to be in
That letter is read by someone who can act on it, and a considered one has never gone unanswered.
Three places to work. One asset moving between them.
Whichever one you join, you will see the other two — that is the point of building the group this way, and it is the main reason people find the job interesting.
Origination and credit
Underwriting policy, portfolio management, dealer and embedded programmes, and the commercial work of putting credit where a decision is being made.
Engineering and risk
Data, decisioning, monitoring, structuring engines and the interfaces other institutions integrate with. Most of the group is here.
Capital markets
Structuring, tranching, issuance operations and investor reporting — the end of the path where credit becomes an instrument.
Six things, and the last one is the rarest.
Nothing here is a personality test. Each line describes something the work actually demands on a normal week.
Self-directed
You decide what matters next without being routed to it, and you keep learning because the domain moves.
Analytical
You take a problem apart before proposing a solution, and you can show the working.
Able to explain
Credit, risk and structuring only work when a decision can be defended to a committee, a regulator and an engineer in the same week.
Comfortable with change
Products, regulation and priorities move. An agile mindset here means adapting without losing the controls.
Collaborative, and independent under pressure
The group is small enough that both are required, sometimes on the same day.
Fluent in the domain, or fast at becoming so
Asset finance, securitisation or an analogous business-application background is what shortens the ramp. Genuine curiosity has substituted for it before.
In January 2025 the company transferred shares to the people who built it.
Not an option pool announced at a fundraise — an actual transfer to team members, signed and made public. The wording at the time was that everyone had put their shoulder under the same stone, and that ownership should say so. It is the clearest thing we can tell you about how this place works.
